The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Soldiers Table

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a wide array of characters, and a exciting storyline showcasing celestial beings, demons, and dark forces expanding in strength within the urban setting.

Note: Revealing details for the latest installment of the new season lie ahead.

The Warrior Group Revealed

Episode 3 finished on a dramatic pause and revealed the premier party of characters who will split off from the main group to embark on their separate journey, apart from the other two tables.

This warrior group features Teor Pridesire (brought to life by the voice actor), Thimble (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).

The Reason for Division

Given 13 cast members, it was clear from the beginning that having everyone at the same party would be unworkable.

That’s why, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, connecting the characters’ stories before branching into three smaller tables: Fighters, Strategists, and Seekers.

What Defines the Combat Party

According to the DM, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who are drawn to a classically intense battle-oriented narrative style where non-violent answers are scarce.

At first glance, characters like the squeamish cleric the cleric might seem out of place, but the events of the third episode make it clear why these specific adventurers are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the team knows exactly where to proceed after a intense first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose passing kicked off the campaign’s events—exploited the enemy for his personal gain, breaking into the hidden lair, striking the rogue, and swiping all the powerful objects to auction.

Casimir then paid off his obligations and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire hot on his heels.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each adventurer has a specific drive to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as the close ally and trusted friend, seeks vengeance.
  • Kattigan knows the northern area and warns that it is a hostile place.
  • The warrior and The cleric, having resisted his family’s wishes to kill the target and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • However, their status as important members in House Halovar could enable the team access places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, Teor swore a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his rescue and will now accompany him anywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Finally, all of them are sought by the authorities that rule the setting for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally too risky:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The warrior and The healer turned against House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • Teor is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.

This leaves them little choice but to journey toward the remote area in quest for Casimir.

What’s Next?

From the latest episode’s post-show segment, we discover that the combat party will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the cast members to assemble the Explorers and Planners parties.

Audiences can look forward to learning which players will be assigned to which table in the story’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
